Unfake Initial Research

For the design of the window display I started looking at some designs which I thought would be appropriate given the audience of the merchandise that the shop sells. I really liked the concpet of this carphone warehouse window display, looking at the new Apple iPhone, now available on Orange. And this concept of Marc Jacob's Bang [erfume for Harvey Nichols.

Based on street style I think something grungy would be really interesting, I really liked the look of this diesel store aswell.

Hair Type

Possibly not directly related to the typefaces i've been working on but I felt these were really interesting, the details on this type are really intriguing and the different textures works really well.

More London Inspiration

Still looking at the london Typeface again I found these on the Behance Network. I really like the abstract features and the different use of weights in this typeface. I also found the way it was constructed from certain shapes and the tracing paper used in the booklet.

I really liked this typefaces aswell, the roundness of the type with certain parts abstracted with horzontal and vertical line serifs on certain characters.

All Aboard Records Type Research

I thought these were really interesting whilst I was looking at the research for the Cities typefaces. For the design i wanted to create an image that didn't necessarily take direct inspiration from water or nautical imagery. I really liked this project I found on the Behance Network, the way the visual styling is very slightly abstract from conventional nautical stereotypes.
