More London Inspiration

I started looking at more formal pieces of type, looking at typefaces and visuals that reflected a formality and tradition within type design but with a modern contemporary twist.

London Inspiration

I've been finding it difficult to find a particular design direction for the london typeface. I found these on typographyserved.co.uk, I particularly liked the freeform aspect to the type but I feel that to keep the consistency in the styling of the typefaces I should consider a more formal approach to the design.
I really like the approach to the context the way the type has been applied to the side of a bus and the book collection.

Interior Type

I found these really interesting, based upon interior drawings. I forgot to jot down the creator at typographyserved.co.uk.

Cognosco: Past Students

I can't quite remember who did this but I remember keeping the image on my computer. A good inspiration piece I think for my All Aboard Records brief. Designed by some past students of the Leeds College of Art Graphic Design course
